The Assistant Manager Procure to Pay (P2P) will utilize technical finance skills to drive continuous improvement through detailed data analysis and system support. Key responsibilities include overseeing vendor invoice scanning and payment processing, monitoring of invoice setups, resolving operational issues, reviewing vendor payables, monitoring open POs and unpaid invoices, collaborating with Business Units for timely service, performing monthly bank reconciliations, setting up and monitoring KPIs, supporting process improvement, supporting internal & external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, monitoring payments and transactional errors, reviewing process controls, driving automation and strategic projects, supporting continuous improvement, attending market meetings for effective communication, and ensuring data quality checks. The role requires a Master's degree, ACCA/ICMA qualification, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Job Purpose:

To utilize technical finance skills to drive continuous improvement through detailed data analysis and system support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for vendor invoice scanning & payment processing and documentation of relevant process.
  • Monitoring of Iron Mountain setup of invoices and share analysis.
  • Oversee day to day operations, take lead in issue resolution on operational matters.
  • Drop-in sessions with users related to invoice issues for timely resolution.
  • Review of vendor payables aging.
  • Monitoring of Open PO’s, GRNI and unpaid invoices.
  • Closely work with BU to ensure the process service are provided timely and accurately and resolve issues being raised.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Set up and monitor relevant KPIs, utilizing Global KPIs where possible.
  • Support process improvement, timely service delivery, etc.
  • Support to internal & external audit.
  • Fully comply with the company’s polices/standards, and the local laws and regulations.
  • Comply with and complete requests and ad hoc & other assignment from line manager.
  • Monitoring payments and transactional errors.
  • Review process controls (ICFW) to ensure compliance and avoidance of future errors.
  • Drive key automation and strategic projects across the function to improve WoW.
  • Support the team to drive continuous improvement and provide any detailed data analysis or system support needed.
  • Attend regular market meetings to ensure effective and clear communication across relevant channels that assists in user adoption, effective usage, and ongoing capability.
  • Ensure data quality checks are performed regularly and proactively manage any remediation with the appropriate stakeholder groups.
  • Advisory to all stakeholders on invoice, taxes and PO related issues.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Master's Degree from reputable institute/university
  • ACCA/ICMA - Qualified/Finalist
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • SAP knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve user's issues
  • Proven delivery of projects and results
  • Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Ability to explain technical terms in a way a business user can understand
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
