Responsbilities / Responsabilités:

- Create inspirational characters, creatures, and prop concepts that inspire the team and contribute to the unique visual direction of our game
- Partner with other artists, designers, and engineers to provide visual and concept solutions to help problem solving complex design goals
- Coordinate with other art leads, design, and production to help accomplish the goals of the concept art team
- Document and communicate specifications and visual benchmarks to support the game’s artistic vision to both internal and external artists

Requirements / Exigences:

- A portfolio of visionary and inspiring concept work you can show and talk about your ideas to the team
- Strong understanding of human/creature anatomy, color theory, composition, lighting, etc
- Expert understanding of Photoshop or an equivalent design program.
- Ability to understand and incorporate requests and revisions effectively and efficiently
- Ability to deliver art feedback with paint over, verbal and written formats
- Understand gameplay mechanics and have a developer’s mindset built in, able to use your artistic skills to improve gameplay and the player experience
- Create inspirational illustrations for the marketing department, generate storyboards and 2.5D frames for the narrative department
