The Rank Group seeks a BI Developer for a 12-month fixed-term contract within their centralized Analytics department. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a reporting suite for key business metrics across Digital and Venues businesses, reviewing data collection processes, executing database queries and analyses, and creating reports using PowerBI. The role requires proficiency in PowerBI (including DAX), SQL, data visualization, and presenting complex analyses to non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills and attention to detail.

Job Description

We are looking for a BI Developer to join our centralised Analytics department on an initial 12-month Fixed Term-Contract. 

Our mission is to provide reporting and insight relative to Marketing, Customer Insights, Safer Gambling and establish a strong culture of data-driven decision making in our organisation's strategy.  

In this role you will be supporting the Digital and Venues business by maintaining and building report on key business metrics and trends.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reporting suite used by the business to monitor performance
  • Reviewing data collection processes and assessing the validity of the information stored
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Development of new reports to support business needs using PowerBI

Qualifications

  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, data science modelling, business or economics (or similar)
  • Experience in data visualisation tools, specifically in PowerBI
  • Experience using DAX in PowerBI
  • Ability to create high level presentations of analytical work
  • Ability to translate complex analysis for non-technical audiences
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills are essential as is proficiency within SQL (other languages an advantage)
  • Attention to detail and promotes a high standard of quality
