Job Description

Tesla is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) in Eagle Farm to join their groundbreaking Body Repair Program. The role involves performing structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla models S, 3, X, and Y, utilizing advanced tools and eco-friendly processes. Responsibilities include structural and cosmetic repairs, using Celette Frame Jigs, welding, replacing parts (body panels, suspension, etc.), and adhering to Tesla's repair procedures. Candidates must possess 3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair, a strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills. I-CAR Australia Welding certification and a Collision Repair certificate are pluses. The position requires a minimum of 38 hours per week.

Must have:

3+ years' experience in automotive collision repair
Proficient in MIG Welding
Structural & cosmetic repair expertise
Teamwork skills
Adherence to Tesla repair procedures

Good to have:

I-CAR Australia Welding certification
Certificate in Collision Repair and Maintenance

What You’ll Do

Perform Structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Models S, 3, X & Y vehicles in accordance with Tesla-specific Repair procedures
Use Celette Frame Jigs for setting New Structural Components
Glue, Rivet, and Weld structural components being replaced
Repair exterior cosmetic panels via Metal Finishing and body filler
Replace all parts associated with collision repair including body panels, suspension parts, vehicle structure, Radiators, Airbags and Trim
Proficient in MIG Welding
Follow Standards and work in Teams
