Job Description

Red Games Co. is seeking a Games Data Analyst to work alongside product and marketing teams. Responsibilities include monitoring player behavior and product performance, translating game data into actionable insights, setting up and maintaining analytics tools, conducting A/B testing, and identifying areas for KPI improvement. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in analytics within the video game, marketing, or technology fields, strong SQL and data analysis skills (R, Python, Tableau), and a passion for games. Experience with mobile app or game environments (MMP data models) is a plus. The role requires autonomy, proactiveness, and the ability to reconcile technical and business needs.

Must have:

4+ years analytics experience
Data analysis skills (R, Python, Tableau)
Strong SQL skills
Mobile game experience (plus)

MMP data models understanding

Red Games Co. is looking for a seasoned leader in data analytics with a passion for mobile games to work alongside our product and marketing teams. This person is adept at analyzing and drawing conclusions from player behavioral data that directly influences, game design, player retention, monetization and user acquisition.

Responsibilities

Work closely with product team and marketing team to monitor player behavior, product health and overall performance
Understand product goals and identify KPIs that will help track success and identify risks
Translate game data into actionable insights and recommendations to help inform marketing, user acquisition and product strategies
Set up and maintain user analytics tools, dashboards, etc.
Help create controlled experiments, A/B testing, etc. with clear goals and success metrics to test new product features
Continually identify areas for improving game KPI’s and recommend new product features

Qualifications

4+ years in an analytics or similar role in the video game, marketing, or technology fields
Extensive knowledge of data analysis techniques, languages, software and systems (R, Python, Tableau) required.
Extensive knowledge in SQL (or a SQL-like language) required.
Strong experience working in the mobile app or game environment is a plus (e.g. MMP data models, limitations and mitigation strategies, etc.)
Autonomous, proactive and able to take initiative; brings a growth mindset to the studio
Passion for games
Ability to reconcile technical and business perspectives
