POSITION SUMMARY

The Licensing Coordinator will work with the IP Licensing department globally to support licensing tasks in IP Strategy department. The primary job responsibilities involve assisting the Licensing business with various tasks, such as managing assets, assisting approval of the licensed merchandise, licensee compliance, sample organization, tracking deals and assistance with event planning.

This is a 12 month contract position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support approvals through software such as MyMediaBox, and necessary communication with licensees and our Japan Headquarters
  • Manage assets and brand style guides using Microsoft OneDrive and Sharepoint
  • Track status of product launches by maintaining launch schedule
  • Assist creating PowerPoint brand presentations
  • Correspond with Finance Team to coordinate invoices to licensees
  • Generate weekly reports of approved SKUs to stakeholders using MyMediaBox
  • Obtain & track & organize samples and coordinate with licensees to ensure contractual samples are sent
  • Support with trade show preparation
  • Manage Merch by Amazon storefront by uploading SKUs and maintaining current SKUs
  • Track existing licensing agreements and potential deals
  • Track royalty statements from licensees every quarter and communicate with the Licensing Team on status of royalty statements
  • Track and upload SKUs using Fadel (deal & financial management system) and cross reference with the Approvals Platform (MyMediaBox)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years administrative support, entertainment industry preferred
  • Must be able to lift boxes up to 25lbs
  • Highly detailed and organized
  • High comfort level with using file transfer programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Japanese (Bilingual) preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated experience/excellence in using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Good team player who will meet and/or exceed team goals
  • Finance background is preferred

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business, or Finance,
  • or equivalent work experience
