The Crown Is Yours

As a Licensing Specialist, you’ll support the process of obtaining, maintaining, renewing, and tracking state licensing for DraftKings vendors.  You will support our vendors and their intellectual property and contribute to our innovative and robust global compliance and risk team.

 

What you’ll do as a Licensing Specialist

  • Support the global licensing program by working directly with various business groups to prepare and maintain vendor licensing applications and other requirements.

  • Communicate with state regulators and maintain a partnership to accomplish licensing requirements.

  • Complete regulatory licensing requirements as applicable with minimal oversight.

  • Maintain established filing and tracking systems as well as innovate by establishing improvements to current processes.

  • Document and update processes and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with employees and internal business partners by providing periodic updates regarding license status, including outstanding items.

  • Work efficiently both independently and with collaboration of a team.

  • Prepare and analyze reports for submission to compliance leadership and regulators regarding vendor licensing.

  • Research licensing requirements and provide guidance on the application of regulations.

 

What you’ll bring   

  • At least 3 years in comprehensive paralegal, policy, regulatory compliance experience, or comparable expertise.

  • High level of personal integrity and the understanding to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with extreme attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and regulators.

  • Ability to take the initiative and manage shifting priorities while balancing multiple competing priorities simultaneously. 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to prepare and analyze reports to stakeholders and leadership.

  • A basic understanding of the Gaming Industry's current practices and products is a plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 81,600.00 USD - 102,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
