What You’ll Do
This position will be based in Pune and will be in GSC CoE. The principle role of the this position is to support Aerospace Business in UK region in the strategic purchasing activities.This includes understanding materials to be purchased, negotiations with suppliers and the ongoing supplier relationship management. This is a single site role with assignment to remote plant location. This position requires the incumbent to work in UK shift: 12:00PM to 09:00PM.

- Managing the suppliers fully end to end and dealing with everything for the plant.
- Supplier relationship management, conducting weekly, monthly, quarterly business reviews as required with assigned suppliers.
- Coordinate with Goods Inwards on supplier delivery queries.
- Coordinate with Quality Dept on supplier defective material return, rework, or exchange.
- Supporting daily meetings with Material Planning to ensure flow of material to production and manage exceptions.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable on billing and/or credit issues, resolving system interface errors in ERP and other financial applications.
- Evaluates and monitors current supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery & cost.
- Monitoring of supplier replenishment methods.
- Balances current and future demand requirements with supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
- Follows and maintains system parameters in line with model plant processes & policies.
- Comfortable working by taking own initiative, can make decisions and has great supplier and customer relationship skills.
- Drives and responds to action message report (expedites, de-expedites, cancels and past due)
- Maintenance of order and monitoring Supplier OTD.
- Review excess and obsolete and plan to reduce as a part of E&O liquidation process.
- Working Knowledge of Kinaxis will be added advantage.
- Shift time is 12:00PM to 09:00PM."
