Job Description

The Security Operation Engineer II at Tencent Overseas IT will handle security tickets, conduct system inspections, participate in incident response, and identify operational inefficiencies. Responsibilities include analyzing security events, resolving anomalies, implementing improvements, and collaborating with teams. The role requires proficiency in security tools (Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark), public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and Python for automation. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese are essential.

Must have:

Handle security tickets and ensure timely resolution
Conduct daily security system inspections
Participate in incident response and problem analysis
Proficient in security tools (Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark)
Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar public clouds
Python development skills for automation
Fluent in English and Chinese

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Security Engineer to join our security & compliance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining and improving our security infrastructure, protecting our organization from cyber threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsible for receiving, analyzing, and handling security tickets, ensuring timely response and resolution.
Conduct daily inspections of security systems to ensure proper operation, and quickly diagnose and resolve any anomalies.
Participate in incident response during security events, assisting in the analysis, problem identification, and execution of follow-up tasks.
Identify efficiency issues in daily operations and implement improvements to enhance execution efficiency.

Who We Look For

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Information Security or a related field.
Experience in the security industry, with proficiency in common security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark.
Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, etc.
Proficient in Python, with the ability to develop automation tools.
Strong communication skills, capable of effective collaboration with team members and other departments.
High sense of responsibility, with a strong willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and tools.
Fluent in both Chinese and English communication.

本科及以上学历，信息安全或者相关专业优先。
有安全从业经验，使用过常见的安全工具，如 Burp Suite、Nmap、Wireshark 等。
有公有云平台使用经验，如 AWS，GCP 等。
具备 Python 开发能力，能够开发自动化工具。
