The Merchandiser will play a vital role in driving the Disney Store business by developing and managing products. Key responsibilities include strategic planning for assigned categories (fashion or home), product development aligning with overall category strategies, and managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch. This includes collaboration with cross-functional teams (design, sourcing, etc.), vendor negotiation, pricing strategy development, and ensuring optimal allocation across retail channels (stores and e-commerce). The role demands a deep understanding of market trends, guest expectations, and financial performance, with the ultimate goal of maximizing sales and profitability within the assigned category. Success requires strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.

Job Summary:

Disney Storeのビジネスをドライブさせる根幹は商品であり、その中核を担う商品開発チームは非常に大きな責任を伴います。その中でマーチャンダイザーとして担当カテゴリーの戦略立案、商品開発、商品マネジメントを担当頂きます。

職務内容:

ディズニーストアで販売する商品の企画開発(ゲスト動向や市場のトレンドを的確に捉え、常にゲストの期待を超える商品を提供する)
商品部のカテゴリー戦略に基づき、担当チームの商品企画の立案と実行、またプランニング、アロケーション、サプライマネジメントチームと共に価格戦略、仕入計画、チャネル計画（店舗、EC ）を立案する。
計画に基づき、商品アソートメントを決定し、発注する。取引先との条件交渉を行う。
国内外問わず他部門、他チーム(APAC Creative、プロダクトデザイン、プロダクトインテグリティ、グローバルソーシング等)と連携強化し、ビジネスを円滑に進める
担当カテゴリーの売上・利益の最大化の責任を持つ（担当カテゴリーはファッションもしくはホームを想定）

必須条件 : 求められる職務要件

３年以上のメーカーもしくはSPAでの商品開発経験
キャラクター商品の企画開発経験
取引先との折衝経験(納期、価格など)
(尚可)ビジネスにおいて英語を使用したコミュニケーションの経験
