We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Our team collaborates closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and other key functions to commercialize PayPal’s suite of solutions for strategic customers and partners. Together, we drive growth with some of the world's largest tech platforms, merchants, retailers, consumer ecosystems, and channel partners.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape and influence sales leadership and cross-functional teams by guiding them through complex business models, enhancing PayPal’s value proposition for top global accounts and partners. You will develop financial and analytical strategies that span customer segments, products, and markets, enabling the right balance of trade-offs and driving successful outcomes across the organisation. Your work will be instrumental in steering the company's strategic direction and achieving impactful results.

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role you will

  • Support leadership in crafting compelling arguments and negotiating tactics to achieve favourable commercial outcomes (revenue & margin profile).

  • Fully engage in deal negotiations, partnering closely with the sales team on pitches, term sheets, contracts, and presentations.

  • Participate in the deal review and approval process, adhering to agreed service-level agreements (SLAs) with Sales partners.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across sales, product, finance, and other functional teams.

  • Engage in regular team interactions, contributing positively and collaboratively

What do you need to bring

  • Extensive experience in finance, strategic sales/business development, pricing, strategy, corporate development, banking, consulting, investor relations, or equity research.

  • Understanding of payments products and technology, with an ability to grasp next-generation commercial solutions.

  • Strong experience in complex pricing/monetisation and financial models, with the ability to develop negotiating strategies.

  • Ability to synthesise complex ideas and communicate them clearly, both orally and in writing, to diverse audiences.

  • Versatility in navigating a complex, matrixed corporate environment with multiple responsibilities; a collaborative and proactive mindset is essential.

  • MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
