We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

As Lead Product Manager at PayPal, you will be joining the Fastlane team, responsible for delivering a best-in-class checkout experience to millions of users. The ability to learn new complex systems and manage relationships across a large organization will be critical to success. If you have a keen eye for intuitive design, enjoy digging deeply into user problem spaces and leading diverse teams towards an effective solution- this role is for you.

PayPal’s Fastlane team is looking for a lead product manager who can lead the development of elegant, performant, effortless, and compliant checkout experiences. Success in this role will help us deliver on our mission and goals while working alongside some of the best in the payments and ecommerce industry. 

Meet our team:
The Fastlane Consumer team is responsible for growing Fastlane by PayPal’s membership and checkout conversion through frictionless acquisition, engagement, and guest checkout optimization. We focus on delighting customers, directly addressing their pain points along the user journey, and delivering an effortless accelerated transaction. If customers do not choose our PayPal branded experience, we ensure that they’re still able to have a seamless checkout through guest payments and consider choosing PayPal on a subsequent transaction.

Your way to impact:
As a Lead Product Manager, you will be focused on ensuring the optimization of all Fastlane checkout flows, helping to explore key opportunities for growth, creating stellar personalized customer experiences, and supporting all aspects of the business while partnering with employees from many contributing teams. You will lead a team of designers, engineers and analysts alongside to define a near term roadmap and long-term strategy for our Fastlane products. This will require exceptional verbal and written communication to influence peers and senior leaders with a bias towards clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation supported with evidence. You will become a subject matter expert in your area, continually identifying opportunities to improve our experiences, and advocating on behalf of the customer using data and strategic thinking.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
