Job Description

The Senior Product Engineer will design, develop, and deploy new product features using modern frontend technologies. They will translate product requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences and take ownership of features from ideation to post-release support. They will also write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews, and proactively identify and fix technical debt. This role involves working with cross-functional teams and supporting and mentoring junior engineers. The engineer should stay current with frontend trends and advocate for improvements. The job also provides the opportunity to work closely with some of the world's largest brands and work towards the company's mission to make customers happier. Must have:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and GraphQL.
  • Solid grasp of frontend architecture and design patterns.
  • Ability to work independently on complex problems.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

Product Development & Technical Ownership:

  • Design, develop, and deploy new product features using modern frontend technologies, while also maintaining and improving existing infrastructure.

  • Translate product requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable technical solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

  • Take full ownership of features or modules from ideation to post-release support.

Code Quality & Technical Excellence:

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and company coding standards.

  • Participate in and contribute to regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency across the team.

  • Promote the use of performance optimization tools and techniques to enhance frontend responsiveness and load times.

  • Proactively identify and fix technical debt, potential performance issues, and areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on requirements, timelines, and implementation strategies.

  • Support and mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge and best practices, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Continuous Learning & Innovation:

  • Stay current with the latest frontend trends, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Advocate for new tools, frameworks, or approaches that can improve the team’s productivity and the product’s quality.

  • Experiment with and implement creative approaches to problem-solving and user interface challenges.

What Makes You Qualified

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4–9 years of hands-on experience in frontend development, ideally in fast-paced or product-led environments.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and GraphQL. Familiarity with Next.js is a plus.

  • Solid grasp of frontend architecture, design patterns, and software engineering principles.

  • Familiarity with DevOps and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an added advantage.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex problems while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
