Job Description

BlueBolt is seeking a Roto/Prep artist to join their talented and growing team. The successful candidate will work on exciting upcoming projects. Responsibilities include reporting to the VFX Supervisor or Lead Compositor, working as part of a team, being able to work with a brief, communicating effectively, troubleshooting, paying close attention to detail, and taking direction from Compositors and Supervisors. The company specializes in compositing, computer graphics, and digital matte painting for film and television productions, having worked on projects such as Game of Thrones, Skyfall, Peaky Blinders, The Northman, Ridley Scott’s Napoleon, and Nosferatu.

Must have:

Experience in a VFX facility, preferably film.
Good working knowledge of Nuke.
Artistic talent with a knowledge of composition and colour.

Job Details

BlueBolt is looking for a Roto/Prep artist to join our talented and growing team.

The successful candidates will work on an exciting range of upcoming projects.

Skills/experience:

The ideal candidates will have some experience in a VFX facility, preferably in film
Must have good working knowledge of Nuke
Artistic talent with a knowledge of composition and colour.

This role will require you to:

Report to the VFX Supervisor or Lead Compositor
Be team orientated, motivated and able to work a brief
Be a good communicator and able to troubleshoot logically
Have a strong eye for detail
Be able to take direction and feedback from Compositor and Supervisors.

BlueBolt is an award-winning visual effects company. It specialises in compositing, computer graphics and digital matte painting for film and television productions. Over the past fifteen years BlueBolt has worked on many projects including Season One of Game of Thrones, Skyfall, all of Peaky Blinders, The Northman, Ridley Scott’s Napoleon, and Nosferatu. We have won and been nominated for many awards in this time.
