The Scaled Solutions Engineer at Google's gTech Ads will collect requirements, design, and build global solutions for ad products. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • 2 years of experience in delivering technical projects.
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience partnering/working with cross-functional teams translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience working with ad tech products - ad server, demand-side platforms, data management platform such as web analytics.
  • Effective project management, and leadership skills investigative capabilities and demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collect requirements, provide guidance, and best practices to apply to ad products and technologies
  • Be responsible for proactive scope, design, and build series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be reused by customers, sellers, partners.
  • Leverage engineer skills to adapt existing bespoke ads solutions created by regional teams into global scaled solutions that can support thousands of customers.
  • Own solution life cycle from discovery, to launch, handle maintenance bugs and feature requests, as well as deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions.
