Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack at Google Cloud, you will build innovative solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) to tackle complex business problems. You'll contribute to the development of a new engineering function within the Cloud CISO organization. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, building scalable and maintainable solutions for the security and compliance domain, partnering with other teams on technical direction in compliance, privacy, and security, and contributing to organizational and technical planning. This role requires extensive experience in software development, machine learning, and ideally, experience with accessible technologies and distributed systems.

Must have:

5+ years software development experience
3+ years experience with ML algorithms and tools
3+ years testing, maintaining, launching software
1+ year software design and architecture experience
Experience with LLMs
Collaboration with stakeholders

Good to have:

Experience developing accessible technologies
Java or TypeScript/JavaScript experience
Experience with distributed systems
Understanding of NLP concepts
Understanding of Security, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g. TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning, or natural language processing.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience in Java or TypeScript/JavaScript.
Experience in architecting and developing distributed systems.
Understanding of machine learning concepts (e.g. NLP).
Understanding of Security, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance domains.
