Full Stack Engineering Lead– Manager

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

A software engineering lead is the delivery owner on one or more development projects; works closely with technical and business owners to ensure alignment; plans, oversees and reviews delivery of features; supports current resources and onboards additional resources; conducts quality reviews and develops guidelines and procedures; connects with the broader software engineering community for standards, methodologies, tools, training and collaboration for continuity, quality and re-use.

As a Full Stack Engineering manager, you will be responsible for the below activities:

• You will be responsible for designing and building Front end architecture for web applications using better practice design principles.

• You will be responsible for managing a team of full stack developers who will be responsible for building the web application as per the architecture.

• Create Product Backlog Items (PBIs) and work items in Azure DevOps

• Build the required MFE/front end components (base framework/core architecture) of the application, and load the data from wide variety of sources like API, Blog Storage and SQL Database

• Assist the Product Manager and Business Manager in designing the technical solution

• Actively participating in daily team stand-ups, workshops, and online technical forums.

• Applying software development process guidelines to prepare design documentation, update the status in scrum tools.

• Utilizing CI/CD workflows using build and release automation.

• Application development based on screens, documented requirements, and user stories

• Assisting with third level support by driving the resolution of application defects and supporting a response to major application incidents.

• Leading the development of web applications with the support of a small development team (for lead roles).

• Coaching other developers and sharing your knowledge and expertise within the team.

Skills and Experience

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:

• 2 years of Front-End architecting experience

• 2 years of team handling experience of 3 to 5 team members.

• 5 to 8 years of relevant development experience.

• Hands on experience in developing end to end solutions.

• Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to concisely articulate status, issues and risks

• Experience in project and process management, planning, workflow, multi-tasking and problem solving

• Experience working with cloud native technologies and PaaS offerings (Azure preferred)

• Hands-on development experience with .NET technology stack preferred; C#, SQL Server, Azure PaaS

• Hands-on development experience with frontend libraries and frameworks such as React, Angular

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline (BE, BTech,

MCA).

• Hands on experience in designing and developing web applications using React/Redux, TypeScript, Bootstrap, SignalR, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript.

• Experience developing middleware, integration and messaging systems using REST APIs and

message platforms (e.g. Azure Storage Queues).

• Experience developing, deploying and using Azure App Service, Azure Function Apps,

Application Insights, Azure Redis, Azure App Configuration & Azure Key Vault.

• Experience in relational database design and developing stored procedures, db components

using Microsoft SQL and applying Microsoft core data frameworks (EF, ADO.Net etc.) to use different databases.

• Strong understanding and applying software development patterns: MVC, MVVM; Web

development patterns, Object-oriented programming principles.

• As a full stack developer, ability to apply your skills on the front end, middleware and backend as well.

• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD).

• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, an analytical mindset and outstanding

• attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently with remote teams using collaboration technology.

• Ability to identify issues and solve complex problems as part of a team.

• Ability to lead small development teams and foster strong working relationships.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

• proactive approach to resolving problems.

Ideally, you will also have

● Experience with microservices architectures/Micro Front End and containerization using Docker.

● Experience designing, developing and automating unit tests.

● Strong understanding of source code version control, including the use of Git repositories.

● Experience working on projects that follow an Agile Scrum methodology.

● Strong awareness of system development life cycles (SDLC).
