    The Team: 

    The Senior Brand Manager will be the local expert in the brands/categories designated, driving expertise on the brands/categories he/she oversees, ensure effective, creative and efficient implementation of marketing plans and working with local agencies. Furthermore, the position will act as Marketing interface with both internal and external customers.

    The Opportunity: 

    This position, under the guidance of the local Marketing Manager, is accountable for crafting and implementing a strategic marketing growth plan across a key toy category. Inclusive of range selection portfolio and licensor management. The position will work with a wide number of stakeholders including Global Brand Teams, Regional Brand Teams, Sales and Insights. The individual will be responsible for adapting and implementing key marketing strategies defined by the Regional/Global Brand Marketing Teams and consistent brand direction, as well as driving the local specificities of the category.

    Job Description

    What Your Impact Will Be: 

    • Develop deep expertise of the marketplace, retail dynamics, consumer and shopper behaviour
    • Responsible for pricing (following Regional guidelines) and quotas in conjunction with sales (P&L, margin, forecasting)
    • Select the line by channel/customer and manage product information, validate translations and localization of creative assets
    • Drive consistent flawless execution of brand activation plans by ensuring effective implementation of brand strategies and action plans
    • Coordinate communication plans following brand communication strategies:
      • Be the primary contact for local media agency
      • Own the PR strategy for the brand, working with internal and external PR resources
      • Responsible for brand activities across traditional medias and for content placement if any
      • Partner with the local Digital team to execute consumer engagement digital activities
    • Develop and drive execution of brand retail activation plans
    • Develop and implement country specific plans if needed
    • Partner closely with Regional Brand Marketing and Communication teams, with local Sales, Licensor partners to drive sales, revenue and market share
    • Contribute to driving customer engagement through presentations of product lines, brand plans, ad-hoc presentations to local Sales teams and key local customers
    • Monitor business results and measure the effectiveness of plans and initiatives, taking corrective actions if necessary
    • Manage local A&P Budget

    Qualifications

    What We’re Looking For: 

    • Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or equivalent experience
    • Strong and proven experience and results in Marketing, Customer Marketing roles in Toys, FMCG or licensed consumer goods, Apparel or the Health and Beauty industry
    • Build strong and effective relationships with a large number of stakeholders
    • Strong competitive Spirit, results oriented, with a clear desire to succeed
    • Great tactical skills, ability to react quickly to changing situations
    • Confidently able to work on own initiative and action oriented
    • Strategic thinking ability and able to demonstrate creativity through the proposal of new business opportunities
    • Collaborative partner to internal and external customers
    • Ability to work on a wide variety of projects within deadlines
    • Skilled in selling and influencing
    • Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
    • Previous people management experience (would be desirable)
