Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer at Cupid Media (part of SDG), you'll design, develop, and maintain SQL data warehouses, optimizing stored procedures. You will build SSRS reports and Superset dashboards for actionable insights. Efficient data pipelines using Airflow will be your responsibility to ensure seamless data integration and automation. The role demands proficiency in SQL, Python, and data optimization techniques. Experience with GCP (BigQuery, Storage, Pub/Sub) is a plus. This is a fully remote opportunity with excellent benefits including wellness days, vacation time, equipment reimbursement, and partial medical bill reimbursement.

Must have:

3+ years Data Engineering experience
Proficient in SQL (window functions, subqueries, joins)
Confident in Python
Data pipeline development (Airflow)
SQL optimization skills
Build & maintain data warehouses

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join one of our core products - Cupid Media.

Your main tasks will be:

Design, develop, and maintain SQL data warehouses, including the creation and optimization of stored procedures.
Build and enhance reports using SSRS and create dynamic dashboards with Superset to deliver actionable insights.
Develop and manage efficient data pipelines using Airflow to ensure smooth data integration and automation.

We expect from you:

3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
Knowledge of MS SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL at the confident level (window functions, subqueries, various joins)
Confident knowledge of Python
Basic query optimization skills;
Experience with Airflow
Nice to have: experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Storage, pub/sub)
