The Senior Embedded Presales Engineer will support Boomi's growing Embedded business, leading technical discussions with potential and existing partners to understand their needs and map Boomi solutions to their business objectives. Responsibilities include delivering demonstrations, POCs, and architectural guidance. This role also involves supporting existing partners, providing technical enablement, and influencing product roadmap based on real-world use cases, working closely with Product Management. Collaboration with sales, marketing, and enablement teams to refine and scale Embedded-specific content and strategies is also required.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of presales experience in embedded software sales.
  • Strong expertise in integration, API management, or data management.
  • Ability to engage with engineering, product, and executive teams.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Experience influencing roadmap based on customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with Boomi or competitors (MuleSoft, Workato, SnapLogic, Informatica, etc.) is a plus.

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN CONSHOHOKEN, PA

Overview:

Boomi is looking for a Senior Embedded Presales Engineer to support our growing Embedded business. This senior-level role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a deep understanding of selling embedded solutions to other technology companies. The ideal candidate will have experience in integration, API management, or data management, with familiarity with Boomi or competitors as a plus.

This role spans SMB through Enterprise segments, helping acquire new Embedded logos while also supporting existing Embedded partners to drive adoption and expansion. The Senior Embedded Presales Engineer will collaborate closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure our partners’ technical success and influence Boomi’s go-to-market strategy and roadmap.

What You'll Do:

  • Technical Sales & Solutioning:

    • Lead technical discussions with prospective and existing Embedded partners to understand their needs and map Boomi solutions to their business objectives.

    • Deliver compelling demonstrations, POCs, and architectural guidance tailored to Embedded use cases.

    • Establish credibility with engineering, product, and executive personas within partner organizations.

  • Embedded Partner Success & Expansion:

    • Support existing Embedded partners in increasing adoption and expanding their use of Boomi.

    • Provide technical enablement to partner sales and technical teams.

    • Assist partners in solution architecture, integration patterns, and best practices to maximize value.

  • Product & Market Influence:

    • Work closely with Product Management to provide feedback from the field, influencing roadmap and strategy based on real-world Embedded use cases.

    • Act as a bridge between Embedded prospects, partners, and internal teams to refine messaging, pricing, and go-to-market motions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with sales, marketing, and enablement teams to refine and scale Embedded-specific content and strategies.

    • Support Embedded sales cycles from discovery through technical validation and onboarding.

The Experience You Bring:

  • 5+ years of presales experience in embedded, or white-label software sales.

  • Strong expertise in integration, API management, or data management.

  • Proven ability to engage with engineering, product, and executive teams at technology companies.

  • Strong presentation, technical demonstration, and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for different audiences.

  • Experience working with product management to influence roadmap based on customer needs.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer and partner engagements.

  • Familiarity with Boomi or competitors (MuleSoft, Workato, SnapLogic, Informatica, etc.) is a plus.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  The On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role are $163K - $204K (inclusive of commission). Base compensation is determined by various factors including geographic location and the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
