Position Overview
You will work in a hybrid position reporting directly to the Consulting Manager in Japan to provide post-sale technical and business consulting to help guide successful adoption of Autodesk solutions. You will provide process assessments, facilitate customer meetings, training, implementation, mentoring, and create documentation and customer deliverables. You will also provide feedback based on our client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements.
Responsibilities
You will work directly with our enterprise customers to offer consulting services including process, workflow development strategies, training and technical guidance and industry expertise to ensure customers are maximising the value from their investment in Autodesk technologies.
Lead implementation consulting engagements with customers on strategic transformation and improvement plans on factory / process plant planning and operation including Supply Chain Integration
Contribute to sales and business development so that customers understand the value of consulting service
Provide support to Sales/Business Development to help customer understand the value of engaging consulting resources; provide support to Solutions Architects and Business Development in developing customer proposals
Manage processes, priorities and ownership for deliverables
Lead and Implements/executes following work steams as consultant
Analyze the current situation and set up a hypothetical model of the ideal state, then identifying gaps and proposing solutions
Apply Autodesk product like Inventor, Vault, Fusion 360, AutoCAD Plant 3D sets to detailed industry requirements and workflows
Guide customers in the best application of Autodesk products; define and document detailed use cases
Collaborate with customers (external) and consulting groups (internal) to resolve any technical issues
Promote and confirm adoption and usage through presentations, tests and training of solution details
Provide feedback to global consulting groups on client experience for product and process improvements
(May) develop systems architecture, develops and tests codes and implements solutions
(May) develop custom modules using different technical skills including programming knowledge. This includes working with customers on a 3rd party solution or train customer's programmers on customizing Company solution
Minimum Qualifications
At least 7 years' experience as an implementation consultant for design and manufacturing solutions such as PLM, ERP and MES in the automotive or manufacturing industries
Understanding of digital transformation (DX) and digital twin in the manufacturing industry
Experience in Structured Analysis of business data and Use Case analysis of business workflow
IT knowledge of web applications, cloud, databases, etc
Proficiency in Japanese and English both written and spoken
Experience with the business of the software industry
Collaborative, and responsible style of work
