About the job/role

Reporting to the VP, of China, the Senior Marketing Manager will be involving in managing the strategic communication with stakeholders and manages the marketing budget. The responsibilities include developing and executing marketing events optimizing initiatives and creating social media strategies. This role requires the individual to stay updated on industry trends and leading a marketing team to meet the company objectives.

Job Description

 

  • Build and maintain strategic communication and coordination with key internal and external stakeholders especially with licensors of representation.
  • Build and allocate marketing budget and other resources to ensure maximum cost-efficiency.
  • Lead and update a marketing events calendar in a timely and efficient manner in line with CP, content, brand objectives.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly to ensure alignment with company goals and manage the associated vendors and agencies.
  • Develop social media strategy, plan, and monitor the implementation with the retainers to ensure the effectiveness and control the budget. Knowledgeable with operation with Douyin, Little Red Book, Weibo and WeChat in particular.
  • Develop and implement online and offline consumer activations in the forms of road show, shopping mall events, pop-up store events, online promotion by synergizing resources from licensees.
  • Plan and implement B2B events including but not limited to trade show, franchise summit.
  • Stay up to date with shifting industry trends, audience demographics and expectations, and key stakeholders’ requirements.
  • Manage a marketing team to implement and ensure the timely deliverables in line with company goals and business objectives

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with international consumer product brands, IP related experience is a plus.
  • Track record of social media campaign accomplishments with the sophisticated connection of the partners esp. with Douyin, Little Red Book
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills esp. with management-level personnel
  • Thrive in matrix environments and adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required due to business needs
