WB Games Avalanche – Senior Producer
Avalanche Software, a division of Warner Brothers Games Inc. seeks a Senior Producer. Join the team who created Hogwarts Legacy, on a new open world, action RPG.
The Daily
Organize, track, and lead a multi-discipline team developing key mission content for our next game
Develop and manage detailed project schedules
Provide project updates and clear project communication on a regular basis to the development team, studio leadership and external stakeholders
Regularly measure project and team performance in JIRA and eazyBI
Coordinate with other Producers and cross discipline leads and team members to make sure that all parties are on track with game development deadlines, mission team requirements, and overall schedule
Can-do approach and ability to perform under the pressure of AAA development
Identify project risks and manage solutions
Other responsibilities as needed
The Essentials
Passion for PC and console video games and an eye for quality of experience ‘"on-the-sticks"
At least 7 years progressively complex game industry experience, usually within production, including at least 3 years in a key leadership role is required
Must have participated in all phases of full-cycle game development at the studio level and released multiple titles
Demonstrated ability to execute creative vision through a cross discipline team
Strong organizational skills, experience managing schedules and resources across large game projects
Passion for standardized processes and analyzing and improving pipelines
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Possess excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to deal effectively with multiple and competing tasks simultaneously
Ability to analyze project status and present summaries to executive studio leadership team is a must
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, and Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint required
Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
A clear understanding of game project life cycles from concept start to closing the game including LIVE OPS
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience/training.
Experience must demonstrate strong production management, problem solving and communication skills showcasing the ability to lead and motivate multidiscipline teams of significant size to achieve development goals.
Intermediate level of proficiency Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
Excellent project management skills
Work full-time on-site in our SLC office
The Nice to Haves
Open World RPG development experience running mission teams
Agile or PMP Certification is a plus
