Responsibilities
IGT is excited to offer a prestigious position to build and lead its newly created PlaySports B2B sportsbook services, based at the IGT campus in Las Vegas. The successful candidate will be joining an IGT PlaySports business team which already has the most successful B2B sports betting platform offering in the US. We are pursuing a long-term vision to bring world-class full-service sports betting solutions to every casino in every state and tribal territory of the US by leveraging all IGT’s assets in this diverse marketplace, including our deep client relationships, coast-to-coast licensing and our unrivalled global resources, experience, and technical capabilities.
You will be responsible for the trading of pre match, live games (in-play), props, and future markets, across all six major American sports. A passion and in-depth knowledge of American sports and trends are a must, as is the availability to work around the sporting calendar.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain daily sports betting programs for all IGT managed clients
- Populate, open, and maintain sports betting lines and markets. Monitor quality assurance/integrity of our data feeds
- Adjust lines based on liability positions in accordance to agreed strategy with the clients and direction by the Sr. Manager, Trading
- Assist in resulting and grading games, verifying results from the data feeds and relevant sources
- Perform player profiling for the patrons of IGT managed sports books
- Make decisions and recommendations to IGT managed books about acceptance of large bets
- Help the Content Division manage content of customers facing app, kiosks, tills
- Manage liability, lines, future pools, etc. for all full service clients
- Provide Trading Advisory Services for all non-full-service clients
- Manual creation of sporting events and markets
- Communicate with the customer via established live channels
- Responsible for updating IGT backend Trading platform (verifying pay charts/limits/bet types)
- Inform clients when adding relevant new content to the betting menu
- Advise clients on large or suspicious bets
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to team strategy roadmap
- Directing/advising Traders and Jr. Traders while taking on a leadership role within the team
- Perform any other duties given by the Sr. Manager, Trading
Qualifications

- Flexible - available to work outside of the standard 9am-6pm window/need to work any shift.

- Passion about US sports & betting knowledge. Highly business aware with an ability to react positively in response to changing situations
- Minimum of 3-years’ experience in Trading
- Mathematical or business degree will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications with a focus on Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- This is a 365-day operation and in accordance with the worldwide sporting event schedule, the shifts are variable, including nightshifts, weekends, and public holidays

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
