The Opportunity
Adobe Design, our 750+ person global experience design group, is looking for a Senior Experience Designer to join the D-ALP (Digital Advertising, Learning and Publishing) team. We work on market leading products in the spaces of advertising, digital learning, real-time collaborative meetings, complex multi-format documentation and more.

Advertisers face an increasingly complex and fragmented inventory and audience landscape. Coupled with the proliferation of devices and massive amounts of data, media investment has become unwieldy and complex for brands.
Adobe Advertising drives customer acquisition strategies across digital advertising channels and connects results and insights back to sources of truth in Adobe Analytics and Experience Platform. It makes it simple to deliver video, display, and search advertising across any screen in any format. With this independent cross-channel platform, enterprises can identify and engage the best audiences with consistent and relevant ad experiences. Come craft the future of how enterprises plan, launch and manage their advertising strategy. What you'll Do
Lead design within the Advertising product family, including working on direction and details, also provide mentorship to other designers across teams.
Have significant ownership. You will make important decisions about product vision, roadmap, and how it works, looks, feels, and behaves, while partnering with senior leaders across functions.
Create user experience goals, priorities, and design artefacts that align with the product vision. Coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices.
Proactively engage and strongly influence decisions with multiple project stakeholders including business, product managers, engineers, and other designers, in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.
Convey design ideas and end-to-end user experience via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, animations and other media.
Craft design that drive business impact, meet product objectives, fit within Adobe Design guidelines, and respond to user feedback and usability testing findings.
Plan and conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds of usability tests.
Be an evangelist for design as a function. Help drive and develop culture, practices and processes across the larger design team. What you need to succeed
6-10+ years of industry experience in experience design, with a proven track record of leading and delivering great design and strategy that meets user needs, product requirements & business objectives.
Preferably a strong formal education background in HCI or design related field, with an emphasis on human centered design, user experience, interaction design or visual design.
Ability to grasp the essence of complex problems and translate them to practical design solutions.
Ability to lead other designers with clarity and focus, and catalyse growth in the team.
Ability to proficiently facilitate brainstorming sessions, cultivate the creative thinking process, create compelling presentation decks or videos, and present articulate concept pitches.
Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce highly polished and professional work under agreed timelines.
Proficiency in fundamental visual & interaction design principles.
Strong understanding of Figma and/or other prototyping tools.
Ability to comfortably work in hybrid release cycles, which may include waterfall and loosely defined agile and lean design.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space.
Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills
