ABOUT THE JOB
We seek a Social Community Manager to support the Mutiny team as a priority agency of record business focused on daily connecting with gamers, creators, and fans on social media platforms. In this role, you will partner closely with a cross-functional team to manage the social channels on behalf of one of the world's most influential gaming brand’s French and German markets. You will help lead and execute our community management strategy and manage all posting and deployment on the channel. This position requires impeccable attention to detail and excellent communication skills who work successfully with clients, team members, key stakeholders, and senior managers.
IMPORTANT - ABOUT THE JOB
- We seek someone with solid employment experience as a social media community manager who is as passionate about video games as we are.
- This fixed-term contract starts in late August 2024 and is expected through June 2025 (pending performance and client agreement).
- If hired, you will be working remotely from your home. Work tools will be provided.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsive & Reactive Engagement
- Engage on owned posts by reacting and replying to user comments.
- Coordinate with the client to ensure brand consistency and messaging that upholds the tone and voice across all social media platforms.
- Content Deployment & Publishing
- Manage the deployment and publishing of content across all social media platforms.
- Actively scout for UGC amplification opportunities.

- Stay updated with gaming culture, streamers, esports, digital technology trends, memes, and overarching cultures.
- Monitor social channels daily for general Gaming trends and cultural conversations, reporting back to clients and the internal team with recommendations on how to tailor social strategy to the social climate. Channels to include:
- Monitor competitors, partners, and well-known creators for opportunities to engage or amplify.
- Bespoke Content
- Identify and provide conceptual bespoke content opportunities per channel based on individual market trends and seasonal objectives.
- Responsible for all design and copy needs for original bespoke content.
- Responsible for adhering to all internal and external reviews and approvals before bespoke content going live.
- Responsible for posting and managing bespoke content per channel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in both written and verbal English, German, and French language skills. You will be responsible for the above in both German and French markets. Our team manages this role in Los Angeles, California; however, you will also have Human Resources support from London, England.
- 1-3 years of experience concepting and designing social content.
- 1-3 years of community management experience.
- Proven ability to use Adobe Creative Suite 2023 is required.
- Those candidates with creative portfolio links will take priority.
