Sr. Motion Graphics Designer

We are looking for an impactful Motion Graphic Designer to work on all in-house animation, video editing and production. Someone who is driven and self-motivated to join the growing and fast-paced marketing team. Working closely with the team lead/s, you will support and help drive content creation and contribute to building the brand and marketing goals of EduFund

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, Design and produce graphics driven videos, storyboards and other assets of animation/motion design.
• Enhance content with engaging motion designs/ animation for multiple marketing channels that helps drive the brand narrative.
• Shoot, create animation/infographical content and manage all the technical aspects of production as required
• Ideate graphic techniques for imagery to increase viewer retention and engagement.
• Present concept visualization through sketches, drawings, and illustrations
• Plan post-production process and edit raw footages or stitch up stock footages as required
• Learn new production, editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize impact
  
  

Required Skills

• Illustration based motion design skills
• Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, explainer videos, websites, marketing demos, topical videos etc.)
• Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various endeavors and event
• Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction
• Manage timelines and prioritization of workload and know when to ask for directions.
• Optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms.
• Passion and skills for filmmaking
• Experience in video creation, production, editing and publishing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A strong portfolio of works or a demonstrated potential for great work rtfolio of works or a demonstrated potential for great work
  
  

Technical Abilities

• Expertise with Adobe suite such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator with strong understanding of 2D animation & render techniques.
• Hands-on production of high quality and realistically rendered graphics and scenarios, with a thorough understanding of pacing and animation principles.
• Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of related professional experience.
• Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Good To Have Requirements

• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
• Working knowledge in Flash will be nice to have
• Creative approach and storytelling skills
• Prior work experience with a fast-growing start-up or digital agency
