Technical Lead - Perforce Administrator

• Install, configure, administer, and extend Perforce / Version Control Application for the purposes of content development
development. This includes integrated code peer review, compilation, continuous integration, performance data.
collection and analysis, systems admin and monitoring, and more.
• Work closely with build engineers on multiple content teams to train, mentor, and evangelize Perforce / Version
Control Application best practices.
• Managing Workspaces, Depots, Code conflicts, Branching and Integration
• Perforce data migrations and upgrades
• Performance Management / Troubleshooting / Root cause analysis.
• Own and drive projects related to new setups, migrations
• Define and enforce best practice utilization of Perforce by end users.
• Work with content and development teams to build systems around and support pipelines.
• Define requirements for hosted servers and cloud services to accomplish Perforce based continuous integration
systems.
• Monitor and upgrade the servers and systems as necessary to enable distributed development among teams located
in multiple studios worldwide.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve workflows and processes including branching strategies and
integration, site proxying and mirroring, disaster recovery, and archiving.
• Daily functions include application administration activities, application performance tuning, and maintenance
(service packs and upgrades), user provisioning, application support, and segregation of duties reporting.
• Manages all security settings and conducts regular security/configuration audits of accounts/contacts/opportunities for
deactivated users
• Regularly audits data to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement
• Participates in formal governance and change/release management processes

What You'll Do

• 5+ Years of administrative experience in setting up and maintenance of Perforce Server, P4V Client, and Swarm Web

• Services

• Setting up Replication and primary/secondary, or principal/ agent configuration.

• User management

• Training users

• Backup/Recovery of Perforce environment.

• Fundamental knowledge of NAS and storage.

• Experience in source code migration from other SCM tools into Perforce (optional).

• Good communication skills including Vendor communications.

• Perforce license management.

• Upgrades and patching experience.

• Fundamental knowledge of Linux and scripting languages like Python.

• Familiarity with an interactive experience development pipeline is a plus

• Git/ GitHub/ Gitlab knowledge is a plus

• Experience working with Global teams is a plus

• Python/ Java experience is a plus
