This freelance role involves translating video game texts into Spanish (Latin America), proofreading, occasional marketing and legal text translation. Must have: native LATAM Spanish fluency, English proficiency, at least 1 year of gaming translation experience, strong cultural awareness.

Description

Our Testronic Localization Team is looking for English into Spanish (Latin America) Linguists who can:

Efficiently translate texts related to video games: Both full-titles and game updates.
Proofread and edit work of other linguists to ensure the text maintains best translation standards.
Occasionally translate marketing and legal texts related to video games.

Requirements

Native speaker competency in LATAM Spanish.
Fluency in English in writing and speaking.
Translation experience of at least 1 year in gaming industry.
Keen eye for linguistic and cultural nuances.
Enthusiasm for video games.
Ability to issue invoices.
Freelance registration.
Additional translation experience related to subtitles is very welcomed.
