Dabbling into tech and innovation with a creative, detail-oriented mindset is the crux of this role and we would love to have you on board if you know your way around content about the NBA, as well as college basketball!
Writing 8-10 short-video scripts per day within the NBA and NCAA / college basketball domain, purely meant for vertical content
Converting scripts and briefs into video using prescribed video tools for editing, voiceovers, graphics, etc.
Fact-checking and proofing the scripts with proper due diligence with the reporting manager for a quality final product
Developing content strategies in adherence to larger goals and targets
Ownership of views, interactions, and traffic on the channels for the specific content domain assigned
Tracking analytics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and implementing course-correction whenever necessary.
Requirements
Subject matter expertise in and around the NBA and NCAA / college basketball in the US, with a knack to stay updated and consume content across various areas and platforms for the same
Knowledge of content management and picking topics, selecting titles, hooks, and delivering quality, engaging information via short-form video content
Strong writing skills to understand the scope and relevance of converting longer stories suitable for short-form scripts with exciting and unique angles
1-2 years of experience in video content (preferred, but not mandatory)
Knowledge of generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Play.HT, ElevenLabs, etc. (preferred, but not mandatory)
Knowledge of image / video editing tools like Canva, Premiere Pro, etc. (preferred, but not mandatory)
A hunger to produce great content from your assigned domain and the eye for detail in picking the right stories and topics
