Job Description

Nosh Robotics seeks a skilled Android Developer to build a scalable and secure IoT-enabled Android application using Jetpack and Kotlin for their cooking robot. Responsibilities include developing the app, ensuring code quality through reviews and unit testing, working with APIs and external data sources, integrating AI and CV, optimizing app performance, and collaborating with teams to meet feature and performance targets. The ideal candidate has published at least one Android application, understands the full mobile development lifecycle, and possesses strong Kotlin skills. Experience with Jetpack Compose, JNI/NDK, Services, Work Managers, Broadcast Receivers, and Alarm Managers is highly valued, as is experience with hardware device applications.

Must have:

Published at least one Android app
1+ years building scalable Android apps
Proficient in Kotlin
Solid understanding of mobile development lifecycle
Experience with Jetpack Compose

Good to have:

Knowledge of JNI and NDK
Experience with Services, Work Managers, etc.
Experience with applications for hardware devices
Understanding of SOLID design principles
