Job Description

The Application Engineering Manager at Google's Corp Eng will guide and mentor a team of engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional partners to define technical requirements and deliver solutions addressing legal and regulatory challenges. This role spearheads the integration of enterprise legal solutions, overseeing the full lifecycle of internal legal applications, from design to maintenance. The manager will lead development of legal applications and tools, focusing on reliability, scalability, and user experience, and manage the integration of third-party products. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 12 years of software development experience, including 5 years of engineering management, are required.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience working with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
5 years of experience managing engineers.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience managing and customizing third-party systems.
Experience in driving cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
Ability to inspire and influence diverse teams.
Excellent business acumen, with the ability to help Google and its partners build a sustainable business.
