GoQuant develops solutions that makes life easier and more profitable for digital asset traders and researchers. We do so primarily by increasing transparency, boosting speed and placing decisions in the hands of users.

We currently offer two solutions: GoMarket and GoTrade. GoMarket is a subscription service that delivers low-latency, digital asset data, via WebSocket. Features include a unified querying language that allows users to easily bypass exchange-specific protocols to access data. GoTrade is trade execution platform that allows clients to trade digital assets—using multiple interfaces (Rest API, UI, WebSocket, Redis, etc.) to rapidly interact and trade with cryptocurrency exchanges.

Our applications are primarily written in CPP and Python. Core frameworks include NextJS.

This is an exciting time for the GoQuant team as we on-board clients and rapidly build out our solutions to meet their needs.

Job Description

We are looking for a CPP Engineer with experience in enterprise application and platform development. Primary responsibility will be for developing our GoTrade solution, first, as a developer, then, as the GoTrade grows, as a team developer/team leader.

They will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities are straight-forward, which is to drive the development of our GoTrade solution, to help those around you succeed. Developing the GoTrade solution will have our Python/Django framework at its core but will require significant coordination and work on supporting services built in other languages and cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications:

· Strong experience with Postgres databases.

· Experience in enterprise application development.

· Experience with front-end languages: HTML, JavaScript, CSS

· Experience developing WebSocket applications.

· Experience working with in-memory solutions and messaging services (e.g., Redis, ZMQ)

· Experience with cloud-based hosting providers such as AWS or Azure.

· Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

· Experience using Kubernetes, and microservice architecture.

· Experience developing real-time reporting services, including data visualization.

· Minimum of a master's degree required.
