Job Description
Google Cloud is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer in Tel Aviv, Israel. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of software development experience with proficiency in one or more programming languages, data structures/algorithms, and experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, or AI. Responsibilities include architecting, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining product features, leading GenAI feature development, contributing to research, coding, and testing efforts, shaping product roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD in a related field and experience with distributed and parallel systems and large software systems.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field
- 5+ years software development experience
- Experience with distributed computing
- Proficiency in data structures/algorithms
- Lead and develop GenAI features
Good to have:
- Master's or PhD in Engineering/CS

- Lead the architecting, designing, developing, testing new features, as well as maintaining and improving the product.
- Lead and develop features based on GenAI technology.
- Contribute to the research, coding and testing efforts.
- Help set the agenda for the product roadmap and technical direction.
- Collaborate with teammates and across job functions (e.g., Product Managers, UX) as well as working with different teams developing other Migration Center components and services.
