Job Description

As a Creator Manager, you'll build and maintain strong relationships between a game developer and its community of creators. Responsibilities include community engagement and support (answering questions, resolving challenges, monitoring communication channels), quality control of creator content, distributing information and in-game codes, content review and moderation, evaluating applications, facilitating game access, and generating reports on creator participation and engagement. You'll also ideate and implement innovative community engagement strategies, publish content for the creator portal, manage the asset library, and ensure all published work meets high-quality standards. The role requires strong communication skills (English and at least one of German, Italian, or Portuguese), time management, accountability, and a proactive approach. Experience in community management or a similar role within the mobile gaming industry is preferred.

Job Details

Job Overview 

As a Creator Manager for one of gaming's most esteemed Creator Programs, your role is pivotal in fostering a strong bond between the developer and their community of creators. You'll drive engagement, ensure creators feel supported and valued, and champion their voices. Integral to this role is the responsibility of quality assurance, ensuring content aligns with dev standards, and regular reporting to track community growth and trends. Your efforts will uphold the developer's commitment to quality and innovation in mobile gaming.


Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Community engagement and support 
    • Provide ongoing support to creators, answering their questions and assisting them through challenges. 
    • Monitor all communication channels and respond to all queries in a timely manner. 
    • Ensure quality control within the creator community and their content. 
    • Distribute key information, updates and in-game codes in a timely manner. 


  • Review and Approvals 
    • Content reviews and moderation for internal program. 
    • Evaluate Creator Program applications daily. 
    • Facilitate game access requests for Beta tests.
    • Weekly localization and review of inbox items for all games.
    • Identify and nurture emerging talent within the program.
    • Master internal evaluation system to assess the quality of the Creator Program. 


  • Audit and Reporting 
    • Conduct audits of the Creator Portal.
    • Generate detailed reports on creator participation within the Creator Program. 
    • Track engagement within Beta games.
    • Internal reporting of all tasks and activities.


  •  Content Strategy 
    • Ideate and present innovative strategies for community engagement via social media.
    • Ideate and present innovative strategies and features for the Creator Program. 


  • Content Publishing 
    • Publish fresh written content for the creator portal. 
    • Oversee and update the Asset Library. 
    • Produce and distribute sneak peek recordings for creators. 


  • Quality Assurance 
    • Ensure that all published work meets the highest quality standards. 
    • Maintain a consistent cadence of reporting for all aspects of the program. 


  • Continued Education 
    • Stay up to date on the latest courses offered by the internal creator education program.
    • Stay up to date on the latest updates of the developer’s games.
    • Stay up to date on the latest trends from the developer’s games on social media platforms.
    • Stay up to date on the latest features of social media platforms.


Qualifications 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in at least one of the following languages (German, Italian and/or Portuguese).
  • Proven ability in time and task management. 
  • High degree of accountability and ownership. 
  • Proactive mentality. 
  • Ability to inspire and encourage others. 
  • Prior experience in community management or similar roles. (preferred). 
  • Familiarity with the mobile gaming industry.
  • Skill or progress on personal mobile game accounts (advantageous).
