Job Description

As a Demand Analyst, you will be part of a global team focused on advanced compute and sensing products for safer and more connected mobility. You will analyze production outputs, validate requirements, and ensure production continuity. Responsibilities include managing plant inquiries, resolving complaints, and monitoring deliveries. You'll also track components, coordinate with planners, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. You'll also be involved in proposing alternative materials and suggesting improvements to service and working conditions. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Your Role

As a Demand Analyst you will be part of a global, diverse and collaborative team and contributing on high sophisticated compute and sensing products driving to a safer, greener and more connected future of mobility.

In this role you will play a key role in Aptiv, you will interact with mother plants to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about RM,as well as these various accountabilities:

  • Analyse MRP output from production plants and define needed actions if abnormalities or huge fluctuations are detected.
  • Validate with the plant the assigned requirements before integration and MRP run in the HUB.
  • Deal directly with plant to insure production continuity on daily basis.
  • Analyze and prepare plants daily deliveries to insure stock replenishment according to defined levels.
  • Handle and resolve plants complaints.
  • Communicate to Plant critical parts and delivery plan
  • Share weekly review regarding mrp variation for the plant
  • Define responsibilities in case of liability
  • Track, monitor future E&O parts with HUB Material planners
  • RM consumption analysis in plants and impacts on ordering.
  • Follow with Plants PC team the action plans related to RM WIP.
  • Ensure the follow-up and management of critical components with material planner and 3PL until delivery.
  • Monitor the transport of goods (Pickup & arrival);
  • Coordinate with MP’s and Scheduling team in case of abnormal situation
  • Follow SDM proposals, and insure corrective buffer profiles if needed
  • Ensure proper flow management via MRP and SAP;
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with stock management strategy in case of component changes.
  • Decide on the type of transport to be used in case of emergency in agreement with the line manager.
  • Support in proposing the use of alternative material if the original material is missing.
  • Make any proposals for improving service and working conditions.

Your Background

  • Engineering degree or Master degree in Logistics or equivalent.
  • Advanced English is mandatory
  • Knowledge of logistics process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skills are required
  • Advanced computer skills
