Visa is searching for a Regional Director for Latin America and Caribbean Marketing Services (MS) to lead the build of a completely new practice area to support Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) Clients; including B2B credential solutions for small business, mid-market, large corporates and governments as well as digitally fund movements domestically and internationally. The selected candidate will partner with the global MS CMS subject matter expert and local MS teams to develop customized Marketing Services solutions. From the development of sales tools to set plays and more, this critical work will ultimately help our clients to drive acquisition, activation, retention, usage, and loyalty and scale their businesses.
As a key member of the Latin America and Caribbean Hub Marketing Services Team, the selected candidate will help drive the strategy, vision, and go-to-market approach to advance Marketing Services to a profitable and strong revenue driver for Visa. This role partners closely with Global Marketing Services Teams, Regional B2B & Product Marketing Teams, Finance, Sales and Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), among many other teams. This role will be located in Brazil, but it will be part of regional Marketing Services team, reporting directly into the LAC Regional Marketing Services VP.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Spearhead development of new Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) practice area, from strategy through execution (success means our teams on the front lines are actively implementing the initiatives with clients at regional level.
Lead diverse, cross-functional teams to deliver new strategic initiatives and special projects on the LAC Marketing Services Roadmap to help fuel future business growth.
Conduct deep dive analyses as needed to identify key CMS trends, issues, and opportunities across the business.
Work directly with key Issuer and Business Development clients, building relationships, developing, and pitching CMS related Marketing services and leading communication strategy and campaign implementation directly with clients or in cooperation with local client marketing team.
Design clients’ specific early card activation, usage, retention and full product lifecycle strategy, develop roadmaps with integrated marketing touchpoints and automated processes across various paid and unpaid channels (CRM: leverage e-mail, mobile push & in-app messaging, SEA, SEM, SEO, SMM, affiliate, content marketing, social media, etc.).
Responsible for developing robust marketing measurement framework for your CMS Marketing Services, conducting analysis of all marketing implementation programs
Support and help facilitate ongoing best practice sharing across the global Marketing Services Community.
Support ongoing operations across key cross-functional and cross-geography touchpoints, including recurring meetings with Local Marketing Services leads, VCA, CMS Teams, B2B & Product Marketing Teams, Business Development, Sales, Finance, and more.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
