WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re on the look-out for a talented Account Director to head up a fast-growing, social-led lifestyle account. If you’re strategic, commercially driven, have excellent Client Service skills and love to grow business, this could be for you! This role will include occasional travel for meetings and productions, and report to the Client Service Director.
WHAT YOU DO
  • Working alongside our strategy and creative teams, you’ll be leading a rapidly growing account to deliver everything from positioning and channel strategies to always-on and social campaigns.
  • You’ll be responsible for managing productions of different scales (from small and agile to creator-led and high-value film and photo production).
  • You’ll build strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a strategic partner and trusted consultant.
  • You believe in delivering outstanding creative and understand how this flexes across channels and touch points. In particular, you’ll have an understanding of social (mainly Instagram and TikTok) and what it takes to perform well there.
  • You’re detail oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. Producing great creative that delivers results for the client is the aim of the game.
  • The main client is in the lifestyle space, so you’ll be dealing with licensees and brand collaboration partners; sometimes, even suggesting them! Diplomacy and effective project and relationship handling will be key.
  • You take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of all of your projects, from finance and briefing to resource booking and reporting. You’ll be an operational pro, highly organised, accountable and reliable.
  • You’ll have a good grasp of profitability and financial rigour, and will support the CSD with assessments of burn rates, and overall financial reporting of your P&L.
  • You are passionate about growth, and an expert at identifying new opportunities, and converting them. From organic growth to new service offerings, this is a huge part of the role – as the client continues to grow, we grow with them!
  • You have a can-do attitude, drive and ambition. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves…
  • If you’re driven and hungry for growth, this account is sure to keep you challenged and growing – but the best part is, it’s also great fun. The tight agency team are top notch, and the clients are great!
WHO YOU ARE
  • Minimum 5 years in account management, ideally 1-2 in a similar role in an integrated or social agency. Experience working on automotive is a plus.
  • You have recent experience managing an account worth c. £750k.
  • Previous agency experience is essential, and experience working on brand campaigns and 360 accounts is beneficial.
  • You’ll have proven people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
  • A complete natural in presenting – to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • You’re a born negotiator, great at selling work, scopes and ideas in a way that is mutually beneficial for the client and agency.
  • You’re an absolute expert when it comes to social, you know the channels inside out, and what ‘great’ looks like.
  • You have a genuine passion for social, and actively stay abreast of trends and social platform changes.
  • You are a born motivator, someone who fosters a collaborative and results-driven culture, leading a high-performing team to achieve common goals.
  • You have strong financial acumen and experience in managing large agency and external budgets.
  • You are process-oriented with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • You’re happy to travel for meetings and shoots when required (mostly in Munich – likely once a month).
  • You have experience working in a multicultural team, with team members and colleagues in other markets.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a huge plus.
  • And, last but not least, you have an active interest in the lifestyle sector.
  • Having a valid driving licence and being confident in driving new and unfamiliar cars is also beneficial.
WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Exposure to senior global clients.
  • Working in an international and integrated team with top talents from different fields.
  • A brand-new centrally located office (Holborn) with plenty of creative space to think, take meetings, and collaborate.
  • Plenty of opportunities to create big ideas, for big projects, with big impact.
  • Flexibility to work remotely - whether from home, the north pole or somewhere warmer. We encourage warmer.
  • Structured onboarding, development & tools (Groove-In Buddy, Feedback talks, state of the art IT Equipment and more).
