Job Description

The Executive Assistant will provide executive, administrative, and developmental support to the CEO and the CLO. The role involves being the primary point of contact for the CEO's office, supporting Board matters, and acting as a liaison. The Executive Assistant's responsibilities include generating itineraries, preparing correspondence, arranging board meetings, proactively researching and prioritizing upcoming issues, and keeping the CEO and CLO informed of commitments. This is a part-time position.
Must have:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams and a board of directors.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years experience supporting C-Level Executives and a Board.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, the Executive Assistant provides executive, administrative, and developmental support in a one-on-one working relationship to the CEO and the CLO. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO, both internal and external. The EA works directly with the Chief Legal Officer in support of all Board matters, and serves as a liaison to the Board, as well as senior management teams, including HR.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists the CEO, the CFO and the CLO with a variety of administrative tasks including; generating itineraries and meeting agendas, expense reporting, preparing correspondence, etc.
  • Act as a liaison and provide support to the Board of Directors, arranging and handling all logistics for Board meetings and events; scheduling, agendas, developing/distributing presentation materials, arranging travel.
  • Proactively researches and prioritizes upcoming issues and concerns while determining a course of action.
  • Keeps the CEO and the CLO informed of all upcoming commitments and responsibilities, planning accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Highly proactive with strong organization skills, reflecting the ability to perform and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams, and a board of directors.
  • Adaptability and responsiveness.
  • Strong decision-making capability and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience partnering with and supporting C-Level Executives and a Board, preferably in a publicly traded  company.
  • Emotional maturity and professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Location:

  • This is a hybrid role based out of our Houston location. Some travel will be required for Board meetings and monthly CEO/Executive Leadership team meetings.

Please Note:

This is a part time position with an expected 20 hours a week. Weekly hours may need to be flexible based on the need of the business.

Salary Range

$41,280.00 - $61,920.00
