Factory Services Enablement Project/Program Management

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in working with external PC suppliers(ODMs) to oversee implementation of nonstandard PC manufacturing projects according to customized requirements.
- Drive partner process improvements to achieve desired goals in meeting high standards of performance in delivering projects according to HP’s requirements. These broadly include fast implementation of projects setups within high quality standards.
- Lead implementation of capabilities at suppliers’ factories to support Configuration services (factory service) and business transition with success.
- Vet through any suppliers’ analysis & preventive actions of quality or other issues impacting performances.
- Lead efforts to ensure partners’ key initiatives and strategies are aligned with the overall priorities of the configuration services (factory service) roadmap and capabilities.
- Maintain close & engaging partnerships to achieve business goals.
- Manage remotely & make occasional travels to partner sites for engagement when needed.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 5-10 years of PC manufacturing related or equivalent experience. Knowledge of high volume & complex PC manufacturing processes. work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- First level university degree in Engineering related or Computer courses. Any skills on data management like Power BI are preferred.
- Highly effective communication in both written and oral in English.
- Demonstrate maturing & proven ability to work independently to achieve desired outcomes with minimal guidance in meeting business goals.
- Experience in managing external partners with self-driven abilities in meeting KPIs.
- Understanding of HP products and customization service solution offerings and capabilities & deliver to meet these requirements.
- Capable of presenting or escalating issues effectively to high-level regional management when needed.
- Understands concept of Root cause analysis and prevention & adhere to its practice.
- Ability to work cross functionally, geographies & time zones to build consensus at across teams where lines of responsibilities may not be direct, both inside and outside HP.
- Ability to remotely manage suppliers effectively and able to collaborate well with partners as a team.
