Fraud, Payments and Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fraud, Payments and Risk Manager to lead and manage our payment processing, verification, and risk management functions. This critical leadership role requires a deep understanding of payment operations, fraud prevention, and risk mitigation strategies. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the functions while safeguarding our business against financial risks.

What You'll Do

• Lead and oversee the Payment Operations, Verification, and Risk teams, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and adherence to company policies.

• Manage Payments and Verification Operational teams in meeting company SLAs and ensuring that we provide the best customer experience possible.

• Continuously enhance robust risk management and fraud prevention measures to safeguard the organisation's financial interests.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes, enhance user experience, and minimise issues.

• Monitor payments and verification industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

• Oversee the development and execution of verification processes to ensure accurate and timely verification of user accounts and transactions.

• Analyse and assess potential risks associated with payment operations and transactions and develop proactive strategies to mitigate those risks.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional growth opportunities.

• Collaborate with AML, legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Prepare and present regular reports on payment operations, verification, and risk management to senior management.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience (2+ years) in managerial roles within payment operations, verification, and risk management, preferably in the iGaming sector.

• Strong understanding of how to manage operational teams within the iGaming industry.

• Demonstrated expertise in fraud prevention, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

• Excellent knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance, and industry standards. • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives.

• Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Results-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities.
