Client Overview

Our client is an established retailer specializing in womenswear. Their product assortment includes apparel, accessories, and footwear. They are looking to bring on a Freelance Associate Technical Designer to join their team

Salary/Hourly Rate

$25/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview

The Freelance Associate Technical Designer will provide support through technical proficiency and organization under the Senior Technical Designer. This will be a great opportunity to work across multiple categories.

Responsibilities Of The Freelance Associate Technical Designer

• Assist with creating technical sketches with construction callouts.
• Coordinate the fit schedule with the design and technical team weekly.
• Attend fittings and assist with the fit approval process.
• Assist with the coordination and management of all samples.
• Maintain tech packs under the direction of the Senior Tech Designer.
• Manage the daily communication and follow up with all Tech-related partners including factories.
• Write up and send Fit-Proto comments.
  
  

Qualifications For The Freelance Associate Technical Designer

• 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• PLM or Web PDM is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
  
  

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
