EveryMatrix is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join their team in London. The role involves building and deploying scalable applications across Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes environments. The developer will collaborate with a DevOps Engineer to ensure applications are well-architected and deployment-ready. Key responsibilities include writing clean code, ensuring deployment readiness, refactoring for optimization, cross-platform development, API development, knowledge sharing, and supporting automation pipelines. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborative environments and hands-on infrastructure and application development.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of backend development experience in C# or Java
  • Strong experience with REST APIs and service-oriented architecture
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines or similar tools
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Good to have:
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to Node.js or other backend languages
  • A polyglot mindset and willingness to learn new technologies

We are looking for an Full Stack Developer to join our team in London!

Salary Range: £75,000-£85,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Full Stack Developer to join a cross-functional team focused on building and deploying scalable applications across Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes environments. You will work closely with a DevOps Engineer to ensure that applications are not only well-architected and performant, but also deployment-ready from day one.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code, understands deployment constraints, and thrives in a collaborative environment where infrastructure and application development go hand-in-hand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, maintainable code following internal standards. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
  • Deployment-Ready Development: Collaborate with the DevOps Engineer to ensure applications are structured for seamless deployment in containerized and cloud environments.
  • Refactoring & Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to enhance scalability, stability, and performance.
  • Cross-Platform Development: Build and maintain features that run reliably across Windows and Linux environments.
  • API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs with robust error handling and performance in mind.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Actively contribute to internal knowledge sharing through documentation, presentations, and peer learning.
  • Automation Support: Write scripts and tools to support automated deployment and testing pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in backend development using C# or Java (ideally both).
  • Strong experience with REST APIs and service-oriented architecture.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines or similar tools.
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Node.js or other backend languages.
  • A polyglot mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Start with 25 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 35 days by your fifth year with us.
