Gameplay Programmer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Game Developer with a strong foundation in core programming fundamentals and software concepts. The ideal candidate will have provable experience in mobile game development, with a focus on optimizing game performance and memory management. This role requires a deep understanding of game systems, design patterns, and the ability to write clean and reusable code.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, robust, and reusable code using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.
• Understand the creative idea for games and translate to well documented and architected code. 
• Utilize design patterns to create scalable and maintainable game systems.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing codebases, with a strong focus on performance and memory management.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging gameplay experiences.
• Refactor and optimize existing codebases with a focus on performance. 
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or
  equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in C++ and C# programming languages.
• Excellent understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and design patterns.
• 3+ years of solid game development experience in any tech stack (Unreal, Unity, C++, C#,
  Multiplayer).
• Proven experience in full lifecycle project delivery, including one released mobile game.
• Deep knowledge of memory management, optimization techniques, and design patterns
  related to video games.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game mechanics.
• Knowledge of Git and the ability to work efficiently with version control systems.

Must Have:

• Portfolio of previous game development projects.
• Experience with Version Control.
• Production Experience: At least have been a part of 1 game released to a mobile platform
• Experience in developing for multiple platforms (PC, consoles, mobile).
• Familiarity with multiplayer game development.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in developing for multiple platforms (PC, consoles, mobile).

• Strong communication skills.
• In-depth engine knowledge of any one game engine.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
