Job Description

AGS is seeking a Graduate QA Engineer to join its North Ryde, Sydney studio. Responsibilities include writing, maintaining, and reviewing test cases and documents; participating in requirements understanding and test scenario creation; working closely with developers to reproduce bugs; owning projects from start to finish; executing manual and integration tests; and ensuring high product quality. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a positive attitude. Experience in slot game testing is a plus. This is an on-site position in North Ryde, NSW, Australia, open only to Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
QA testing experience
Knowledge of Linux, Unity, XML
Good communication skills
Problem-solving skills

Good to have:

Knowledge of OO programming (C#, C++)
Experience with bug tracking tools
Slot game testing experience

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our North Ryde Studio and make sure our product quality continues to shine. If you are a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities of working in a multidiscipline creative environment and slot game testing experience, then we love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Write, maintain and review test cases and test documents.
Participate in requirements understanding and capture test scenario to assure test coverage is adequate.
Working closely with game developers in reproducing difficult edge cases and field issues.
Demonstrate complete ownership of the project from Kickoff to hand off.
Execute manual ad hoc scenarios as well as Integration testing
Consistently perform to high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
Self-accountable and accepts consequences of his/her actions. Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in their daily duties.
Perform game functionality testing during game development phase to ensure high product quality.
Perform the defect management and coordination efficiently.

Skills/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Good team player- a passion to help team members and work with them for the greater good.
Knowledge of Linux OS, Unity and XML.
Knowledge of OO programming languages (e.g C#, C++).
Knowledge in bug tracking tool
Awareness of and adherence to Quality Assurance Practices.
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking abilities.
A positive, can-do proactive attitude.
Good communication skills, ability to clearly communicate with the stakeholder and an eye for detail.

Note: Slot game testing experience will be considered.
