Job Description

DAZN seeks a Graduate Transmission Resource Coordinator to support its Transmission Team in Leeds. Responsibilities include allocating staff and freelance resources, conducting daily resourcing checks, identifying potential resourcing issues, assigning tests, and performing ad-hoc duties as directed. The role requires strong attention to detail, understanding of 24/7 shift patterns, excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in a live broadcast environment. Prior broadcasting experience isn't essential; experience managing complex rotas in other industries is considered. This is a key administrative position working closely with management, overseeing rotas and ensuring team member training.

We're looking for someone who has strong attention to detail to support our Transmission Team in our fast-paced and dynamic Leeds office.

As a Resource Coordinator you will play an integral part in supporting the growth of the business helping to streamline and coordinate the various processes. This is a key administrative position working closely with management to oversee the rota and to ensure each member of the TX team is up to date with their training which in turn will play a part in their development.

The ability to work as a team in a busy, ‘live’ department and to adapt to changing business needs, cultures, conditions and work responsibilities is will set you on a good path here.

Although DAZN is a leading figure in live sports broadcasting, a background in broadcasting is not entirely essential. The right person for this role may have experience managing complex rotas in other industries – so if you do, we’d love to hear from you.

As our Trasmission Resource Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to

Assisting with the allocation of staff and freelance Transmission resources in line with business and operational needs 
Responsible for daily resourcing checks against various systems and ensuring that the resourcing information is accurate
Working ahead and highlighting potential future resourcing issues - working with team to fix in good time
Assigning tests 
Ad-hoc duties to be directed by Senior Coordinators and/or Team Leader

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

The ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure in a broadcast Live environment
A good understanding of 24/7 shift patterns
Enthusiasm for planning
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as take individual responsibility and make decisions
An understanding of the end-to-end broadcast process
An interest in Sport
Experience using Media Genix WON and Scheduall a bonus
