Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions within the Guidewire DataMart. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Responsibilities also include implementing data integration and ETL processes using Azure cloud, ensuring data quality and security, optimizing data workflows, providing technical support, and documenting processes. The developer will work on Guidewire PC and BC configuration, GOSU language, Guidewire tools and plugins. The developer will also be responsible for coding, quality, performance, monitoring and implementation of new product application development in Guidewire.
Must have:
  • 10+ years experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • 3+ years experience in data management and integration.
  • 3+ years work exp in Guidewire software.
  • 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance industry.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Azure.
  • Guidewire PC Configuration & Guidewire BC Configuration Knowledge.
  • Expertise in GOSU language and Guidewire tools.
  • Good years proven experience in Guidewire Application Development.
Good to have:
  • Experience with other cloud platforms and big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
  • Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.
  • Agile software development experience.
  • Guidewire Cloud Certification (ACE).
  • Experience with Guidewire PMT tool.
  • Good years of Guidewire development experience.
  • Experience coding RESTful APIs.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date on happenings in Guidewire.

Job Details

Mimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
  • 3+ years of strong expertise in data management and integration
  • 3+ years of work exp in Guidewire software
  • 5+ years of work experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Must work on Guidewire PC Configuration & Guidewire BC Configuration Knowledge
  • Expertise in GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins
  • Good years proven experience in Guidewire Application Development
  • Responsible for design, coding, quality, performance, Monitoring and implementation of the new product application development in Guidewire.
Responsibilities:

  • Implement data integration and ETL processes using Azure cloud
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data platforms.
  • Optimize data workflows and performance to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.
  • Document data processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other cloud platforms and big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
  • Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products
  • Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
  • Guidewire Cloud Certification (ACE).
  • Experience with Guidewire PMT tool.
  • Good years of Guidewire development experience.
  • Good years of experience coding RESTful APIs.
  • Responsible for keeping themselves up to date on happenings in Guidewire and bring in thought leadership views.
