Job Description

The Invoicing Specialist will be an integral part of the shared service finance team, responsible for ensuring timely invoicing of licenses and support, managing overdue debtors, and ensuring the accuracy of revenue from month to month. The role also includes assisting local auditors with year-end requirements. Key responsibilities include monitoring revenue accuracy, managing subscription invoices, handling overdue debtors, invoicing external customers, creating contracts in the finance system, maintaining the order backlog, and ensuring compliance with tax rules. The specialist will collaborate with the Order 2 Cash team and global account and project managers, working in a team of around 22 finance professionals.

Stibo Software Group is looking for an invoicing specialist to join our shared services finance team in Aarhus, contributing to accounting, controlling, and driving period-end closing processes. If you have experience in finance, strong analytical skills, and a passion for working in a dynamic, collaborative environment, this could be the role for you.

This is the role and main tasks

In this position, you will be an integral part of the shared service finance team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective financial operations. After a thorough introduction, you will be responsible for ensuring timely invoicing of both licenses and support, overdue debtors and help making sure the revenue is correct from month to month. Your role will also include assisting local auditors with their requirements at year-end.
 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Closely monitoring the accuracy and completeness of the revenue.
  • Making sure invoices for subscription is correct and done on time.
  • Responsible for overdue debtors.
  • Responsible for invoicing of external customers.
  • Responsible for creating contracts in our finance system for Order Forms.
  • Making sure the Order Backlog is correct.
  • Maintain manual, workflow and process description.
  • Part of the yearly audit/review – support with necessary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with tax rules on invoices.
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as needed.

The team
You will be part of our Order 2 Cash team and working with the other members of our Finance Team as well as having a strong partnership with our Global account- and project managers. The Finance team is around 22+ people where most are working out of our HQ in Aarhus with a good mix in gender and age.

Additional Candidate Requirements:

  • You have a relevant education in economics and speak and write both Danish and English at a high level.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (preferably SAP or similar).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with both local and global teams.
