Job Description

Lead Frontend Developer role in Belgrade for a free-to-play PC game using an in-house engine. Responsibilities include implementing the HUD for core gameplay, the game's meta interface system, and collaborating with UI/UX teams to ensure performance, visual impact, and usability. This role requires close communication with backend services for dynamic data management and involves working within cross-discipline feature teams. The position offers a hybrid work model (2-3 days in the office).

Must have:

React/Native JS development experience

Job Overview

The role will involve working on the UI elements of a free-to-play in-house-engine based PC game in our Belgrade studio. You will work alongside the meta and gameplay teams, and designers to implement various UI features both in the front-end and in-game.

What will you do?

Implement the HUD for the core gameplay

Implement the game meta interface system

Work closely with the UI art and UX teams to balance performance, visual impact, and usability

Communicate with backend services/engine for dynamic and persistent player and game data

What are we looking for?

React /Native JS development experience

A love for working in cross-discipline feature teams

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Proven programming experience in the gaming industry

Experience working with Gameface

Experience developing for PC, as well as different console platform

Strong background in developing user interfaces across both front-end and in-game features

Experience working with networked multiplayer games
Experience working with highly distributed teams
Experience operating a live free-to-play game service

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
