Job Description

Wargaming seeks a QA Team Lead for an unannounced AAA game development project. Responsibilities include managing product quality, testing processes, and a small QA team; mentoring staff; planning workloads; collaborating with developers and producers; and performing hands-on testing. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of QA experience, strong management and organizational skills, knowledge of QA theory, hands-on testing skills, experience with defect-tracking tools, and excellent communication skills. The role is hybrid (2-3 days in the office).

Reports to

Head of QA

What will you do?

Product quality management and testing process within the team.
Monitoring and execution of QA work plans.
Identifying and resolving issues in testing and development processes.
Managing the QA team: mentoring, staff development, workload planning.
Collaborating directly with developers and producers to ensure the team’s production goals are met.
Performing hands-on testing as needed.

What are we looking for?

4+ years experience in QA
Experience with managing a small and focused team.
Exceptional management and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of QA theory.
Strong hands-on testing skills.
Extensive experience with defect-tracking tools.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
English - B2 and above

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Previous testing experience within game development.
Knowledge of programming languages (Python\C#\C++)
Experience coordinating with external or remote test groups.
Experience managing private and public beta releases.

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
